Raipur, January 03, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai led Government has released the 11th instalment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the state government has transferred assistance of Rs 1,000 each to the bank accounts of about 70 lakh eligible women of the state on January 01, 2025.
According to the information received from State Women and Child Development Department, in the month of January 2025, a total amount of Rs 651.62 crore was paid to 69 lakh 69 thousand 399 beneficiaries in their bank accounts.
Out of these beneficiaries, assistance of Rs 606 crore 51 lakh 60 thousand has been given to 60 lakh 65 thousand 160 beneficiaries at the rate of one thousand rupees and Rs 45 crore 10 lakh 76 thousand 400 has been released to 9 lakh 04 thousand 239 women receiving social security pension, thus a total assistance of Rs 651 crore 62 lakh 36 thousand 400 has been released, they Department said.
Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 7181 crore 94 lakh has been given to the beneficiary women in 11 monthly instalments from March 2024 to January 2025.
It is worth noting that the said scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 10, 2024. About 70 lakh beneficiary women of the state are being given financial assistance of Rs one thousand every month.
There is also a mobile app of Mahtari Vandan Yojana for information about the amount received under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Beneficiaries can download it from Play Store and view their information, the Department said.
