Raipur, April 4, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here today evening on a two day tour of Chhattisgarh, during which he will chair an important meeting to review the Maoist situation of the state.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his cabinet colleagues welcomed the Union Home Minister Shah at the Swami Vivekananda Airport at Chhattisgarh capital Raipur.

Shah is excpected to meet the top political leaders of the ruling party and bureaucrats during his visit.
Shah will also take a high-level meeting to review the ongoing operations against the Maoists, official sources said.
The Home Minister has set a target of March 31, 2026 to root out naxal menace from the country.
Shah is scheduled to visit Bastar and Dantewada districts tomorrow to participate in various functions and also to meet the security personnel who are engaged in an operation against the ultras.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his cabinet colleague will brief him about the operational success and also the developmental works being carried out in those areas during the meeting.
