Raipur, August 24, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today paid floral tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Tokyo during his Japan visit.
After reaching ‘Little India’ in Tokyo and paying tribute, Chief Minister Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi’s immortal message of peace, non-violence and harmony is not limited to India, but it is a source of inspiration for humanity all over the world.
Sai said that Gandhiji’s statue in ‘Little India’ is a symbol of India-Japan friendship and cultural connection.
He said that this place is not only a matter of pride for the Indian community, but also connects Japanese citizens with the great traditions and values of India.

Members of the delegation were also present on this occasion with the Chief Minister.
