New Delhi, September 14, 2025: President Droupadi Murmu today appointed a new Chief Justice for the Manipur High Court.
A senior judge of Madras High Court Justice M Sundar was today appointed as the Chief Justice of Manipur High Court.
“The President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice M. Sundar, Judge, Madras High Court as Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur with effect from the date he assumes charge of the office,”, a press communique said.
Justice Sundar is appointed as the current Chief Justice of Manipur Justice Kempaiah Somashekar is retiring today.
