Raipur, June 14, 2026: A special health screening camp will be organized tomorrow at the Jashpur District Hospital by Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital Naya Raipur, with the aim of ensuring the timely detection and treatment of congenital heart disease in children.

Official sources stated that free screening for heart-related ailments in children will be conducted at the Jashpur District Hospital tomorrow starting at 9:00 AM.

Organised under SECL’s CSR programme “Dhadkan” in collaboration with the district administration and the Health Department, this camp will specifically screen children exhibiting symptoms such as breathing difficulties, failure to gain weight, recurrent cold/cough or pneumonia, excessive sweating during breastfeeding, rapid heartbeat, or bluish discoloration of the body.

Specialist doctors will conduct examinations and necessary tests for the children at the camp entirely free of cost.

Children diagnosed with congenital heart disease during the screening will be identified, and their treatment, including necessary surgery, will be provided completely free of charge at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Raipur, with the support of SECL.

The district administration and the Health Department have appealed to parents in the district to bring children showing such symptoms to the camp for a health check-up, thereby ensuring timely treatment.
