Raipur, August 13, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai engaged in a warm interaction today with approximately 50 students from seven government schools in Sarguja district, who were visiting on an educational tour; he learned about their experiences, interests, and future aspirations.
Encouraging the students, the Chief Minister inspired them to set ambitious goals in life and to pursue them with dedication, discipline, and hard work.
Sai told the students that student life is the most crucial period for laying a strong foundation for the future. The dreams envisioned during this phase and the effort put into realizing them determine the direction of one’s life.
He stated that students should always dream big and strive with full devotion to turn those dreams into reality. Any milestone in life can be achieved through hard work, discipline, and dedication to one’s goal.

The Chief Minister remarked that success does not merely mean becoming a doctor or an engineer. Today, immense opportunities exist for the youth across various fields, including education, science, research, sports, technology, administration, and entrepreneurship.
Every student possesses unique talent and interests; what is needed is for them to recognize their potential, choose the right goal, and work towards achieving it with total commitment, he said.
The Chief Minister also shared inspiring stories about various talented individuals and achievers from the state with the students.
Sai noted that since the formation of Chhattisgarh, the education sector in the state has seen continuous expansion. Today, numerous prestigious national-level higher education institutions are established in Chhattisgarh, providing the state’s youth with opportunities for quality higher and technical education.

He stated that the state government is committed to ensuring that students from rural and remote areas also have access to quality education, guidance, and equal opportunities for advancement. Such educational tours not only spark new curiosity in children’s minds but also broaden the horizons of their dreams.
He appreciated the educational tour organized for the students from rural areas. He remarked that this initiative, aimed at introducing children from rural areas to prestigious educational institutions and making them aware of future possibilities, is commendable. While extending his best wishes for a bright future, he encouraged all the students to study diligently and bring honour to their parents, schools, and the state.
Addressing the students, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu stated that student life forms the foundation of a person’s entire life. Just as a strong foundation is essential for a sturdy building, discipline, hard work, and the effective use of time during student life are crucial for a bright future.

He urged the students to utilize this vital period to identify their goals, acquire knowledge, and build their personalities.
Students from Government Higher Secondary Schools in Kanakalo, Bakirma, Sukhri, Rampur, Mendrakala, and Karji, as well as from the Government SEGES school in Keshavpur, participated in the educational tour.
During the tour, the students visited various prominent institutions and sites in Naya Raipur, including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), the Tribal Museum, and the Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission office.
They gathered information regarding the academic activities, study opportunities, and future prospects offered by these institutions. The experience of seeing these major institutions in the capital and Naya Raipur up close was inspiring for the students.
Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission Chairman Vishwavijay Singh Tomar, Zila Panchayat member Payal Singh Tomar, teachers, and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
