Raipur, September 03, 2026: The 41st International Chakradhar Festival 2026, dedicated to the artistic pursuits and rich cultural heritage of Maharaja Chakradhar Singh, will be held from September 14th to 23rd at Ramlila Maidan, Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.
This cultural extravaganza, featuring local talents and renowned artists from across the country and the state, will showcase a unique ten-day celebration of music, rhythm, and dance. Various forms of classical dance, Chhattisgarhi folk art, Pandavani, folk music, Kabir bhajans, ghazals, and instrumental performances will bring the many colours of Indian art and culture to life before the audience.
In this prestigious event, organized by the Culture Department, Chhattisgaarh Tourism Board, and the Raigarh district administration with public support, Padma Shri award-winning artists will also grace the stage with their performances, including Indian Idol fame artists.
The cultural evenings, starting at 6 pm every day, will showcase a new art form and a new colour. The festival will conclude on September 23rd with a melodious performance by Padma Shri awardee and renowned singer Kavita Krishnamurthy.
The festival will commence on September 14th with a Ganesh Vandana performance by the disciples of Vedmani Singh Thakur. This will be followed by a performance by MLA Anuj Sharma on folk art and music, and Padma Shri awardee Dr Usha Barle on Pandavani.
