Baloda Bazar, September 28, 2023: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge today praised the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
The Baghel government has been sincerely working towards eradication of poverty. Because of that about 40 lakh poor people of the state have reached above poverty line from the below poverty line, he said.

Chief Minister Baghel and Kharge were addressing an event of farmers and workers sammelan in Sumabhatha village of Baloda Bazar district in Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh is directly transferring money to about 2 crore people of the state, which is helping people coming out from the BPL, Kharge said.
On this occasion Baghel and Kharge have transferred the third instalment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to 24.52 lakh farmers of Rs 1895 crore.
Baloda Bazar district has also been given developmental works of Rs 266 crore.
The Chief Minister also announced to start Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Pension Sahayata Yojana, under which the registered construction workers will be getting lifelong a pension of Rs 1500 per month.
