Rs 22.50 crore approved from Central Government for Electronics Cluster in Nava Raipur

Giving a new impetus to electronics and IT manufacturing in Chhattisgarh, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of the Central Government has approved the release of the first installment of Rs 22.50 crore for the proposed Common Facility Center (CFC) project.

     Raipur, December 18, 2025: Giving a new impetus to electronics and IT manufacturing in Chhattisgarh, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of the Central Government has approved the release of the first installment of Rs 22.50 crore for the proposed Common Facility Center (CFC) project.

     Officials said that this allocation has been allotted under the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) scheme.

     This project will be implemented by Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRANVP) in Common Facility Center (CFC) project in Sector-22 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.

     The responsibility of evaluation and monitoring of the project has been entrusted to Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), which had recommended this first tranche.

     This approval will mark significant progress towards developing Nava Raipur as an electronics manufacturing and IT hardware hub.

      Through the Common Facility Centre, industries will be provided with shared infrastructure, technical facilities, testing and innovation related services, which will boost investment and create new employment opportunities for the local youth.

     This decision of the Central Government is a milestone in the direction of industrial development and technological self-reliance in Chhattisgarh, said Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.

     Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chhattisgarh is moving forward rapidly in realizing the vision of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’. It is the priority of the state government to develop Nava Raipur as a state-of-the-art industrial and technological city, Sai said.

     Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that this Common Facility Center to be established under the EMI 2.0 scheme will not only increase the confidence of investors but will also provide a strong foundation to the goal of Developed Chhattisgarh and Developed India @2047.

     He expressed his gratitude to the Central Government and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for this.
