Raigarh, November 11, 2008: Bahujan Samaj Party has complaint to the Election Commission against the Congress candidate in Raigarh and former Minister Sakrajit Nayak of violation of the model code of conduct in Chhattisgarh Assembly election.
Congress candidate was distributing bindi among the women in Dhimrapur area of Raigarh constituency, BSP Raigarh President Sheikh Aziz Niyariya had complaint to the Election Commission.
Along with photograph, it was printed in the packets containing bindi appealing to the electors to vote for Nayak, he said.
Raigarh police has registered a case on the basis of the complaint and said if in the investigation the involvement of Nayak was found than action would also be taken against him.
