Raipur, February 20, 2013: Bahujan Samaj Party today demanded in the Chhattisgarh Assembly total ban on liquor and other intoxicated substances.
Liquor has become an integral part of daily life, Dujram Boudh of BSP said demanding a total prohibition in the state.
Whether to celebrate a new born or during the death, in all occasions liquor has been distributed, Boudh said.
“This is against the Indian tradition,” he said.
Looking into that, liquor and other intoxicated substances should totally be banned in the state, the BSP MLA said participating in the discussion for the third Supplementary Budget in the state assembly.
