New Delhi, December 31, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his New Delhi residence and discussed for an hour various issues relating the Chhattisgarh.
During the meeting the Prime Minister praised the effort of the Chhattisgarh government in promoting production of millets in the state and asked Baghel to open Millet Cafe at Raipur.
The Chief Minister also appraised the Prime Minister about the dues pending before the Centre, including Rs 4170 crore of coal levy and Rs 1375 crore of the GST and urged him to release the amount as soon as possible.
It was also brought to the notice of the Prime Minister how people of the state were facing problems as a large number of passenger trains had been cancelled in the Mumbai Howara route.
The Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister not to cancel passenger trains of the state without making any alternate arrangements.
