Raipur, July 26, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today said the state government will accommodate the retired Agniveer jawans in the state services.
After their retirements the Agniveer jawans will be given job in the state services, Chief Minister Sai told reporters here.
For the posts of police constables, forest guards or for Jail guards the retired Agniveer will be given priority, Sai said.
For a special quota for the Agniveers the state government will issue a direction also, he added.
Opposition and especially Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was very vocal against Agniveer scheme of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
