Raipur, February 26, 2024: In a major step towards development of the lakhs of students, Chhattisgarh Government today decided to have board examinations twice in a year.

The first board examination will be held in the month of March and the second one in the month of June-July, official sources said.
In the second examination, students who have compartment or failed students can appear, they clarified.

Whichever of the marks are higher would be included in the result of the students, they said.
The Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal (Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education) will carry out the order of the Chhattisgarh School Education Department in conducting the examinations twice in the state in a given year.
The state government said that the students, who have filled the form for the first examination, will only be eligible for the second examination.
