Raipur, February 26, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today gave an extra ordinary and extempore speech in the State Assembly while replying to a debate on budget allocations to the departments for which he is the in charge Minister.
Replying a question of former BJP President Dharam Lal Kaushik, Sai said the state BJP government would soon start the pension for the Misa bandi.

During the Emergency lot of non-Congress workers and leaders were put behind the bar under the MISA or the Maintenance of Internal Security Act. Hence they were called MISA bandi.
The Previous Congress government, led by Bhupesh Baghel had stopped the pension to the Misa bandis. But soon they will start getting the pension, the Chief Minister Sai said.
After a discussion the House passed Rs 8421.82 crore budget allocations for the departments of the Chief Minister, including General Administration, Excise, Energy, Mining, Public Relations, Transport and Civil Aviation Departments among others.
People of the state have full fail on the Modi Guarantees, he said adding his government has fulfilled or will fulfil all the promises that were to the people during the election.
