    Raipur, 30 July 2024: Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 551.3 mm in the state since June 1, 2024.

     According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2024 till today Bijapur district has registered the highest average rainfall of 1325.5 mm whereas Sarguja district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 205.0 mm, according to the data compiled by the State Level Control Room of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Chhattisgarh.

    According to the information received from the State Flood Control Room, from June 1 till date, an average rainfall of 333.2 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 468.9 mm in Balrampur, 362.8 mm in Jashpur, 346.7 mm in Korea, 372.2 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

    Similarly, average rainfall of 479.2 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 630.7 mm in Baloda Bazar, 614.5 mm in Gariaband, 432.8 mm in Mahasamund, 626.7 mm in Dhamtari, 537.5 mm in Bilaspur, 561.0 mm in Mungeli, 417.1 mm in Raigarh, 253.4 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 499.1 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 380.4 in Sakti, 618.2 mm in Korba, 491.3 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 352.9 mm in Durg.

     An average rainfall of 454.0 mm has been recorded in Kawardha district, 638.6 mm in Rajnandgaon, 733.4 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, 424.2 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 722.9 mm in Balod, 344.8 mm in Bemetara, 673.6 mm in Bastar, 652.3 mm in Kondagaon, 845.2 mm in Kanker, 727.0 mm in Narayanpur, 771.6 mm in Dantewada and 895.3 mm in Sukma district.
