Raipur, December 15, 2008: The Radio Station Raipur has started an every day five minutes Chhattisgarhi language bulletin from here in the capital city of Chhattisgarh.
The Chhattisgarhi news bulletin is being aired at 6.00 PM every day in addition to the 7.11 PM regional bulletin in Hindi by the All India Radio Raipur, the head of the regional news unit and News Editor Girish Chandra Dash told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com here today.
After it was made the second official language of the state besides Hindi, the five minutes Chhattisgarhi language bulletin was started.
AIR Director General (News) Dr P K Bandopadhyay and Director (News) Ratan Prakash on October 31 last were in Raipur and had a detailed discussion with the top officials of All India Radio Chhattisgarh.
The top central officials also discussed the matter with the district correspondents of the state in a two day meeting and sought suggestions before its launch on December 11, last.
