Raipur, August 23, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today participated in several important programmes on the second day of his visit to Japan with the aim of further strengthening industrial cooperation and global partnerships in Chhattisgarh.
In this sequence, Sai held a high-level meeting with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
In this meeting, regional diversification, trade and technical cooperation, infrastructure development and emerging investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh were discussed in detail.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the investor-friendly policies of the state, recent reforms and strong support being provided to startups and new generation industries.
Emphasizing the importance of advanced technologies in determining the future direction of Chhattisgarh, he visited the space technology exhibition titled “Deep Space – To the Moon and Beyond” organized in Tokyo.
This visit is particularly important because the proposed Space Manufacturing Cluster is being set up in Rajnandgaon with the support of the Government of India, which will prove to be helpful in connecting Chhattisgarh more deeply with the global space economy.

The Chief Minister also met and interacted with the members of the Indian community settled in Japan.
On this occasion, he apprised them of the recent policy initiatives of the state, the positive environment for investment in Chhattisgarh and efforts focused on large-scale employment generation.

Members of the Indian diaspora assured Sai that they would actively cooperate in strengthening the relations between Chhattisgarh and Japan and encourage Japanese businessmen to explore investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
