     Raipur, December 17, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today completed 4 years in office as on December 17, 2018 he took oath as the first elected Congress Chief Minister of the state.

     Baghel, as a PCC chief, led the Congress to a land slide victory in 2018 assembly election uprooting a 15 years rule of the BJP led Dr Raman Singh Government.

     Congress also succeeded in restricting the BJP to 14 seats in the 90 member house.

     The government and the Congress party are celebrating today as the Gaurav Diwas or the day of pride.

     On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced a scheme of Rs 1000 crore to renovate all school, hostel, ashram and government buildings.

      To improve the standard of the technical education in the industrial training institutes the Chief Minister also announced a Rs 1200 crore scheme of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht ITI yojana.

     A Rs 100 crore scheme has also been launched today named as Mukhyamantree Vriksh Sampada.

     After the Congress government came to power it had able to meet the aspiration of the youth, farmers and older generations, the CM said.

     Immediately after taking oath as Chief Minister, Baghel said, he straight went to the Mantralaya and took a decision to write off 11 thousand crore rupees worth of agricultural loans of the farmers of the state.

     He also took the decision to purchase the paddy of Rs 2500 per quintal, and from that day justice has been continuing with the farmers and other sections of the society, the Chief Minister said.
