Korba, January 17, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today directed the officials to speed up issuance of caste certificates and Forest Right records and suspended one local official for the delay.
Once gram panchayats approve the names, clear without any delay all those matters relating to Van Adhikar Pattas and Caste certificates, Chief Minister Baghel told officials.
After interacting with the villagers from Nonbirra under Katghora assembly segment of Korba district, Baghel said all the eligible people should get the benefit of the state government schemes.
The officials should also work towards increase the income of the people, he said.
The Chief Minister also personally inquired about the access of the people towards various welfare schemes of the state government.
When a villager complaint, he had not yet been provided Van Adhikar Patta despite the fact that they have been settling in a forest land for the last three generations and that was established in the Special Gram Sabha, the Chief Minister directed the officials to provide Van Adhikar Patta to Ramesh Kumar Janjgde by tomorrow and also with immediate effect suspended local Panchayat Secretary Anil Kumar Kewat.
