Raipur, August 15, 2014: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today received salute of an impressive parade after unfurling Tri-Colour at Raipur.
The Chief Minister hoisted the national flag at Police parade ground Raipur and said his government was committed to the development of the state.
Speaker Gauri Shankar Agrawal hoisted the national flag at Bastar divisional headquarter Jagdalpur.
Amid elaborate security arrangements it was being celebrated throughout the state after the Maoists declared to oppose the Independence Day.
