Raipur, November 01, 2024: Chhattisgarh is celebrating its foundation day today and state Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on this occasion called for participation of everyone to make it a developed state.
Chief Minister Sai greeted the people on the state foundation day of Chhattisgarh and said everyone’s participation is important in the creation of a developed Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh is completing 24 years today as the state was created from Madhya Pradesh on November 1, 2000.
On the occasion of State Foundation Day, let us all pledge to take the state forward and write a new chapter of development, he said.
Chief Minister Sai also appealed to the people of the state to light lamps in their homes on the occasion of Rajyotsav and celebrate Rajyotsav along with Deepotsav.
Former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had created Chhattisgarh and the state is continuously working towards achieving the goal of Vajpayee, for which the state was created, Sai said.
Chhattisgarh has achieved success in every field. The current government is also working towards development of the tribals, farmers, labourers, underprivileged sections of the society and ensuring that their rights are protected, the Chief Minister said.
Also the double engine governments, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will achieve all the targets of development, Sai added.
