Raipur, October 08, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today met the Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and discussed a range of issues, including the new Industrial Police of the state.
The Chief Minister discussed about the industrial development of Chhattisgarh and its investment proposal with the Central Minister Goyal, official sources said.
Sai pointed out the necessary of international cargo facilities in the state, development of industrial corridors, and also increase in the capacity of the Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) in the state.
He also urged the Union Minister to connect the Korba-Bilaspur-Raipur with the industrial corridor of Nagpur.
The Union Minister has assured the Chief Minister of all central assistance to the mineral rich Chhattisgarh.
Goyal also assured Sai of giving sanction of special economic zone to the state, sources said.
