Raipur, August 20, 2023: Congress MLA from Khujji in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh Chhanni Sahu was today attacked by a person with knife.
MLA Sahu sustained minor injuries in the attack by the person with a knife, sources claimed.
When the MLA was attending a function in village Jondhara under Dongargaon police station area, a youth allegedly in inebriated condition came from the back side of the stage and attacked the MLA.
In the incident MLA Chhanni Sahu sustained injuries in her hand, and was provided treatment at the government hospital.
The attacker was overpowered and subsequently arrested by the Police, reports reaching here said.
