Raipur, December 17, 2014: the Main opposition Congress today stalled the proceeding of the Chhattisgarh Assembly demanding resignation of the Raman Singh government over the scores of death in Sterilization operations in Bilaspur district last month.
Immediately after the start of the proceeding for the third day, the Congress members rose from their seat and shouted slogans demanding resignations of the Raman Singh government in the state, making it responsible for the sterilization deaths.
Initially the house was adjourned till noon due to uproar and subsequently the Congress members entered the well of the house because of which Speaker Gauri Shankar Agrawal suspended 26 Congress MLAs.
