Raipur, April 14, 2025: Chhattisgarh Government has drafted an ambitious plan to provide digital facilities at the Panchayat level in the state.
Initially the programme will be implemented in 10 panchayats of each blocks of the state.

With this, one more guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be fulfilled in Chhattisgarh as the digital services, including cash payment will be started in 1460 gram panchayats of the state from Panchayat Day, April 24.
Today, in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, MoU was signed for “Atal Panchayat Digital Suvidha Kendra” in 10-10 gram panchayats of each development block of the state.
In these facility centers, villagers will now be able to get many facilities under one roof. They will be able to easily withdraw money from their account, send money from their account to someone else’s account, pay electricity-water bills and take advantage of many facilities like pension-insurance in their panchayats itself.

MoU was signed today between the service providers of Common Service Center and Sarpanches for Atal Panchayat Digital Suvidha Kendra. This programme was organized in all the district headquarters of the state.
With the start of these facility centers, villagers will not have to go to the development block and district headquarters for small works. They will be able to avail many facilities in the village itself.
Chief Minister Sai, while addressing the programme organized in the district headquarters through video conferencing from his residential office, said “today is a historic day for Chhattisgarh. We are going to fulfill one more guarantee of Modi. During the assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised the people of Chhattisgarh to start the facility of cash payment in Gram Panchayats, which is now going to be fulfilled.”
“We have fulfilled most of the promises of Modi’s guarantee in just one and a quarter years. Whether it is paddy purchase for farmers at Rs 3100 or paddy bonus of the last two years, Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, Ramlala Darshan for the elderly, re-launch of Chief Minister’s Tirth Darshan Yojana, or the promise of giving Rs 10 thousand annually to 5 lakh 62 thousand agricultural laborers,” the Chief Minister said.
From these facility centers, being started in the Gram Panchayats, farmers will be able to receive payment for paddy, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, pension and other schemes, as well as avail other facilities including birth-death certificates.
In the program, the Panchayats which already have PMAY-G Panchayat Ambassadors were specially invited and honoured. In the Panchayats where no PMAY-G Panchayat Ambassador has been appointed so far, a suitable person will be selected and appointed as Ambassador.
In the programme, information about the ongoing survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) “Mor Duwar Sai Sarkar” (15 April to 30 April) was given to the beneficiaries.
Along with this, information was given regarding the groundwater level of the Gram Panchayats and the public representatives were made to take a pledge to make water harvesting.
On this occasion, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. Basavaraju S, Panchayat and Rural Development Department Secretary Bhim Singh, Special Secretary Taran Prakash Sinha, MNREGA Commissioner and PMAY Rural Director Rajat Bansal, Panchayat Director Priyanka Mahobiya were present.
