Raipur, October 15, 2008: Deputy Chief Election Commissioner of India J P Prakash today reviewed the poll preparation of Chhattisgarh, which is going for two phase vote on November 14 and 20, next.
During the meeting, Prakash asked for specific information about the number of completion of the photo identity cards of voters and the arrangements for the polling booths in Raipur revenue division.
In the meeting the Deputy CEC also asked the District Collectors of Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Kawardha and Mahasamund to immediately start distributing the photo identity cards.
Besides the Chief Electoral Officer of the state Dr Alok Shukla and Joint CEO Gaurav Dwivedi, Raipur Revenue Commissioner Babu Lal Agrawal was also present in that meeting.
