Raipur, August 04, 2025: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister-Public Works Department Arun Sao today did a surprise inspection of the works of under construction Ratanpur to Pendra National Highway and expressed displeasure over the delay in construction works.
He instructed the Public Works Department officials present on the spot not to take any kind of negligence in the quality of road construction. He asked to complete the road work within the time limit in any case, so that people do not face any problem.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao also expressed displeasure over the delay in the construction works of the National Highway during the surprise inspection.
He asked the officials to inform the seniors and the government if they are facing any problems in the construction works. There should not be any hindrance in the progress of road construction, he said.
Sao also checked the quality of road construction and asked the officials to take special care that there is no compromise on quality.
He said that no compromise in quality will be tolerated. Monitor the work seriously at every stage so that people get a durable and safe road for commuting.

Sao instructed to put up signboards as per the need on the under construction road and also to complete the bridge construction work on time.
