     New Delhi, February 10, 2016: Centre has approved two ambition road projects of Chhattisgarh worth Rs 3700 crore.

     Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today informed Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today that he has approved two road projects of Chhattisgarh worth Rs 3700 crore.

     Between Raipur and Durg an elevated road of 26 kilometres would be constructed with an estimated expenditure of Rs 2700 crore, said Gadkari.

     This Raipur-Durg elevated road would be of four-lane.

     Similarly for construction of four-lane between Raipur and Dhamtari a proposal has been sanctioned worth Rs 1000 crore, he said.

     The Union Minister said looking into the special condition of the state, various rebates would also be given to Chhattisgarh.

     In the meeting, PWD Minister Rajesh Munat, Principal Secretary to the CM Aman Singh, Principal Secretary PWD Amitabh Jain, and Director Public Relations Rajesh Sukumar Toppo were also present.
