Raipur, August 16, 2010: A meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, today decided to celebrate the tenth anniversary in a grand scale.
This year the state would be completed ten years and that should be celebrated in a grand scale, several officials today suggested in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said the Rajyotshav would highlight the success travel of Chhattisgarh into a developed state, according to officials.
Special programmes should be drafted to highlight the success of the state in various fields by showing them as a brand and also a postage stamp should be released by the Centre on that occasion, for which the state would send a formal request to the Government of India, the meeting was told.
It had also been decided that the anniversary would be celebrated at the National Capital.
