Guv, CM, Speaker PCC Chief express sorrow over Devendra’s demise

     Raipur, April 20, 2014: Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and Assembly Speaker Gauri Shankar Agrawal today expressed their sorrow over the sudden death of eminent journalist Devendra Kar.

     PCC President Bhupesh Baghel has also expressed his heartfelt condolences.

     While coming from Bhubaneswar to Raipur, the Bolero vehicle in which Kar family was travelling in, collided in a road side tree near Jujomura of Sambalpur district, about 320 kilometre from here.

     The impact of the accident was so strong that Devendra Kar, his wife Deepika and his elder sister Vinodini were died on the spot wee hours today, Jujomura police said over phone.

     Both the sons of Devendra Kar are seriously injured along with his niece and all have been shifted to Burla Medical College Hospital.
