Raipur, June 14, 2023: Chhattisgarh is reeling under a severe heat wave condition, forcing the government to extend the summer vacation.
Looking into the heat wave condition, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today directed the School Education Department to extend the summer vacation of the students.
The schools were supposed to open on June 16, but due to the heat wave condition the summer vacation has been extended up to June 25, on instruction of the Chief Minister, official sources said.
Schools in Chhattisgarh would now open on June 26, they added.
Currently Chhattisgarh is reeling under a severe heat wave condition making life uncomfortable for both the children as well as the elders.
