Raipur, February 01, 2023: Senior IAS Officer S Basavaraju has returned back to his parent cadre Chhattisgarh and joined as Special Secretary to the state government.
The 2007 batch IAS was on inter cadre deputation to Karnataka since November 14, 2019, official sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com today.
On his return back to the parent cadre, the state government has issued order for his fresh posting.
Basavaraju has been posted as Special Secretary Home, a state government order said.
Basavaraju has also been assigned the additional charge of Special Secretary Forest, the General Administration Department order said here.
Basavaraju is known as an efficient officer.
