Raipur, January 28, 2026: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was killed today in a plane crash in Baramati.
Ajit Pawar and four others were killed after an aircraft carrying them crashed in Baramati area of Pune district today morning, reports said.
The incident occurred when the plane carrying the 66 year old NCP leader was landing, it said.
Besides Ajit Pawar onboard, the aircraft was carrying one PSO and one attendant of the NCP leader and two crew members, a pilot and the first officer, when the accident took place, the reports said.
