Raipur, July 18, 2023: Monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Assembly was started today with paying rich tributes to sitting MLA Vidya Ratan Bhasin and a former Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Speaker Dr Charan Das Mahant remembered the contributions of Bhasin and paid rich tributes.
Vidya Ratan Bhasin was MLA from Vaishali Nagar (Bhilai) in Durg district.
The house also paid rich tributes to former member of undivided Madhya Pradesh Assembly and a former cabinet minister Bhanu Pratap Singh.
Bhanu Pratap Singh was the younger brother of Raigarh King Chakradhar Singh.
Former cabinet Minister Bhanu Pratap Singh was the Chairman of famous Chakradhar Samaroh and had worked hard to promote art and culture.
Because of his efforts artists from throughout the country are today performing in Chakradhar Samaroh.
