Now Model villages in Chhattisgarh

      Raipur, April 07, 2015: Like the Centre, Chhattisgarh government today decided to have Model village policy.

     Chhattisgarh cabinet today decided to have its Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojana (MLA Model Village Scheme), official sources said.

      The cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.

      It was also decided to form a high power committee, led by Chief Minister, for implementation of the scheme.

     Even the MLAs from the urban areas could adopt villages in the rural areas under the model village scheme, they added.
