Raipur, April 08, 2011: Chhattisgarh Government has allowed setting up the O P Jindal University in the industrial town of Raigarh.
On the recommendation of the Private University Regulatory Commission, the Chhattisgarh government has issued the notification allowing setting up of the O P Jindal University, officials said.
According to Higher Education Department, the state government has also given permission for two more private universities namely MAI University at Mahmara village under Post office Rasmada in Durg District and Amity University at Village Math, Tehsil Tilda, District Raipur.
The O P Jindal University would come up at O P Jindal Knowledge Park, Village Punjipathar, Tehsil Gharghoda, District Raigarh, they said.
