Raunak Agarwal of Raipur selected in UPSC; DM and 2 IAS visited his house

Raunak Agarwal of Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, secured the 772nd rank in the prestigious UPSC examination, whose result was announced today.

     Raipur, March 6, 2026: Raunak Agarwal of Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, secured the 772nd rank in the prestigious UPSC examination, whose result was announced today.

     Upon the announcement of the results, Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Kumar Biswaranjan, and Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep personally visited Raunak’s residence in Lodhipara.

     They offered sweets and best wishes to him and his parents, and honoured him with a shawl and a book on Gyanyoga by Swamy Vivekananda.

     Raunak had prepared for the interview as part of the district administration’s Project Anubhav. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh and District Panchayat CEO Biswaranjan were on the panel for this mock interview.

     It is a moment of joy for the entire district that our youth are being selected in competitive examinations like the UPSC, the Raipur Collector said.

     This will undoubtedly inspire all young people, and in the future, a large number of young people will be selected in competitive examinations like the UPSC, he added.

     All the officers congratulated Raunak Agarwal on his success and wished him all the best for the future.
