Raipur, January 30, 2009: Excellent planning by the Urban Development Department. After construction of the ambitious Gaurav Path it is now time to damage that.
Crore of rupees were spent just before the assembly election and the work on Gaurav Path was started in Raipur. But before the completion of the entire work, road cutting was started from the completion part. Thanks to the Urban Development Department.
Gaurav Path project is a project very close to the heart of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, because of which Raipur District Collector Subodh Kumar Singh had categorically issued instruction that at no point of time digging should take place on that road.
However, days after that order, unknown people started digging that road.
When the labourers were confronted by the ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com, they claimed they are laying the cable for the BSNL.
However, they failed to show the road cutting permission.
On information the dynamic Commissioner of Raipur Municipal Corporation and the Chief Executive Officer of the Raipur Development Authority Amit Kataria visited the site, where diggings were taking place.
However, the people of the capital are waiting for the Corporation to take action against the people involved in the damage.
