Janjgir-Champa, August 16, 2010: Chhattisgarh Food and Civil Supply Minister Punnu Lal Mohile met the people, whose family members were killed or injured in the cloud burst at Leh and announced to give the injured Rs 2000 each.
Mohile visited Banari village yesterday and said he had been sent by the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh to know the condition of the families.
Official sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com that the Minister also announced to give Rs 2000 to each of the injured persons.
Meanwhile, Mohile met the 95 injured labourers, who landed at Bilaspur in the Sampark Kranti Express from Leh.
The Minister met the injured people at the Bilaspur Railway Station and enquired about their well being.
Officials said 95 labourers were brought in from Leh by air to Delhi and from that point they were brought in Chhattisgarh by rail.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh had earlier announced to give Rs 1 lakh to the family, whose members were killed in Leh.
