New Delhi, April 25, 2013: Government of India has so far spent over Rs 311 crore in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur, official sources said today.
Works are in full swing in all the six AIIMS of the country, namely Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna and Rishikesh, the sources said.
For construction of the hospital and others a total of Rs 310.98 have already been spent in AIIMS Raipur as on March 31, 2013, they added.
Each of the six AIIMS have 50 MBBS seats and classes have started from September 2012, the sources said.
However, works have not been completed in the Raipur AIIMS, local doctors pointed out.
