New Delhi, August 23, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with Ukrainian students, who are learning Hindi language at the School of Oriental Studies in Kyiv.
Prime Minister Modi appreciated the scholarship of the students and their contribution to promoting mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.
He also commended their efforts to bring Indian culture and history closer to the Ukrainian people.
Modi is on a visit to Ukraine, at the invitation of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This was the first ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine, since diplomatic relations were established between the two countries in the year 1992.
