Raipur, June 28, 2024: The high level Unified Command meeting today discussed to re-draft the strategy to combat the 4-decade old Maoist problem of Chhattisgarh.

The Unified Command is meeting here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, official sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
Deputy Chief Minister Home Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Home Manoj Kumar Pingua, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Chief of Anti-naxal operation in the state Vivekananda have taken part in the discussions.
Top officials from the Indian Air Force, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF and Intelligence Department have also shared their views in the operations against the protracted issue of Maoists.

The new BJP government, led by Vishnu Dev Sai, is focusing on development along with the Maoist operation to win over the people.
Under the scheme “Niyad Nellanar Yojana” model villages are being developed under police camps in the interior areas is the concept to provide basic amenities, including security, safe drinking water, medical facilities and rations to the people.
These are the top most priorities in the interior areas and that was giving better result, Chief Minister Sai has said.
