Bhopal, January 16, 2013: Five children and six adults were killed today as a passenger bus collided with a truck in Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The bus hit a stationary truck in Panchakwasa village in Dhar District, about 310 km from the state capital Bhopal, Dhar SP Sushant Saxena told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com by phone.
At least eleven people were killed and ten injured, all bus passengers, Saxena said.
Among the killed were five children and three women, he added.
The passenger bus was coming from Ahmedabad of the neighbouring Gujarat state to Indore town of Madhya Pradesh, another police officer Mohan Jat told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com from the accident site.
The injured have been admitted in various local hospitals, Jat said.
