Raipur, March 08, 2024: About 70 lakh women of Chhattisgarh would start getting Rs 1000 per month under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana from March 10, official sources said today.
“The first instalment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana will be transferred to the accounts of about 70 lakh women of the state on March 10,” the sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a function to celebrate the International Women’s Day and bank transfer of first instalment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana on March 10, next.
The Prime Minister will be interacting with the beneficiaries virtually, they said.
The main function will be organised at the Raipur Science College Ground and also similar event will be organised in all the district headquarters and the Prime Minister will be connected virtually, the sources said.
The Chief Minister will also launch a special campaign on March 10, to free the state from “Child Marriage”.
