2 doctors dismiss from service after Sterilization deaths

      Raipur, November 13, 2014: Chhattisgarh government today dismissed two doctors after sterilization operation killed ten women and about 70 hospitalised in Bilaspur district.

      Dr R K Gupta, who conducted the operation and Chief Medical Health Officer, Bilaspur Dr R K Bhange have been dismissed from their services by the state government, officials said.

     For irregularities in medicine purchase they have been dismissed from service, officials said.

      So far ten women are killed and about 70 are hospitalized following sterilization operation in government camps in Bilaspur district.
