Raipur, November 04, 2024: Three-day colourful Rajyotsav programme to celebrate the Chhattisgarh state foundation day was inaugurated by the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav here today in the presence of state Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and others.
In the Rajyotsav programme Chief Guest Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav praised the development works in Chhattisgarh, while Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the foundation day of both Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh is on the same day and the love of both is like real brothers.
Dr Yadav praised the successful implementation of the public welfare schemes under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai in Chhattisgarh and the campaign against Maoist terror.
Yadav said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Maoism is on the verge of ending from Chhattisgarh.
The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister further said that Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have a common culture, a common idea.
Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badhiya, this honour was not achieved just like that. The people of Chhattisgarh are known for their simplicity, for their rice bowl and for their natural resources, he said.
A new dimension of development has been established from Raipur to Bastar. Here the double engine government is moving very fast on the path of development, he added.
Lord Shri Ram has spent a lot of his time in Chhattisgarh. The incident of eating the leftover berries of Mata Shabari is also from Chhattisgarh, Yadav said.
Chief Minister Yadav said that our glorious past is due to Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. Our government will work to preserve it. We are working to promote religious tourism at the places where Lord Shri Krishna has also performed his Leelas.
“We have Ladli Behan Yojana and you have Mahtari Vandan Yojana here. We will all continue to move forward on the path of rapid development,” Yadav said.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Rajyotsav, started his address by saluting the martyrs of Chhattisgarh including Veernarayan Singh, Veer Gundadhur and other martyrs.
He also remembered Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a symbol of bravery of the tribal community across the country. He also paid homage to great personalities like Guru Baba Ghasidas, Mini Mata and Maharaja Chakradhar Singh.
Chief Minister Sai remembered former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpayee and expressed gratitude towards him. The Chief Minister also remembered Lord Shri Ram, Mata Shabari, Rishi Agastya and other sages at Madheshwar Mahadev Taposthal.
Sai said that the love between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh is like that of real brothers. The foundation day of both the states is on the same day. “I also congratulate Dr. Mohan Yadav on the foundation day and wish for the rapid development of Madhya Pradesh,” he added.
He said, Chhattisgarh is entering its 25th year today. You have seen the development journey of these 24 years. During the Chief Ministership of Dr Raman Singh, development took place in every field in Chhattisgarh. Institutions like IIT, IIM, AIIMS and Law University were established here. A strong system of paddy procurement and PDS was also established.
The Chief Minister said that it has been ten months for his government. In such a short time, his government has fulfilled most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Whether it was the promise of purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal or giving one thousand rupees to mothers and sisters, Ramlala Darshan Yojana, PSC examination. All the work has been completed in ten months.
The Chief Minister said that we have to fulfill the concept of developed Chhattisgarh. We have prepared a vision document and will work accordingly.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that Atal ji created the state of Chhattisgarh. The development that has taken place in the state today has been possible because of Atal ji. This state is the maternal home of Shri Ram. This is not a piece of land, it has immense possibilities.
He said that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has done wonderful work.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that just like all the members of the family gather during the Diwali festival, similarly the family members and elder brother Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav have also come to share happiness with us. The creation of Chhattisgarh is the most unique and unparalleled example of democracy.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said under the Chief Ministership of Dr Mohan Yadav Madhya Pradesh has undertook a new height in the pace of development. He is working in the field of cow protection.
State Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has also implemented many big schemes simultaneously, due to which the state is developing rapidly, he added.
Ministers Dayaldas Baghel, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Tankaram Verma, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, MLAs Rajesh Munat, Purandar Mishra, Guru Khuswant Saheb, Rohit Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Indrakumar Sahu, Sampat Agarwal, other public representatives, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, officers of all departments and a large number of people were present in the programme.
