     Raipur, September 28, 2025: Three overpasses will be constructed by the State Public Works Department (PWD) on Ring Road No. 2 in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, at a cost of over Rs 117 crore, official sources said today.

      Deputy Chief Minister- Public Works Arun Sao will lay the foundation stone for three major bridges to be constructed in Raipur tomorrow, costing over Rs 117 crore.

     The foundation stone laying ceremony is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Hirapur Chowk (Ganpat Chowk), Ring Road No. 2 in Raipur.

     The Public Works Department will construct three overpasses on Ring Road No. 2 in Raipur. These major bridges will be constructed near Bengali Hotel on Jarwai Road at a cost of Rs 23.89 crore, at Hirapur Chowk at a cost of Rs 49.40 crore and near the Reliance Petrol Pump at Sarora Chowk at a cost of Rs 43.76 crore.

     These bridges will provide significant relief to the large population that commutes daily through these three intersections.
