Korba, November 20, 2008: Election Commission today suspended 56 polling officials of Korba district in Chhattisgarh for dereliction of duty.
For remaining absent from election duty, 56 presiding and polling officials have been suspended in Korba district, the District Returning Officer of Korba Ashok Agrawal told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com here.
After suspending the 56 officials, in their places fresh staff have been dispatched for conduct of election today, he said.
