New Delhi, May 17, 2024: The Election Commission of India today giving tally in the Fourth phase of Lok Sabha election 2024 said, 69.16 per cent voter turnout has been recorded in phase-4 for 96 parliamentary constituencies in the ongoing General Elections 2024.
This was in continuation of the two press notes of May 13, 2024, the EC said.
The gender wise voter turnout figures for phase 4 are:

The Commission also clarified that the copy of Form 17C has also been provided for every Polling Station in a Constituency to candidates though their polling agents. Actual data of Form 17 C shall prevail which is already shared with candidates.
Final turnout will only be available post-counting with counting of postal ballots and its addition to total vote count, the ECI said adding Postal Ballots include Postal Ballots given to service voters, absentee voters (85+, PwD, Essential Services etc.) and Voters on Election Duty.
Daily account of such Postal ballots received, as per statutory provisions, are given to all candidates, it said.
A total of 49 PCs are going for polls in phase 5 on May 20, 2024.

Raipur November 20, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today discussed in details with Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu in New Delhi regarding expansion of air connectivity in the state and expansion of Raipur Airport.
After arriving in the national capital earlier in the day, Chief Minister Sai met Union Civil Aviation Minister Naidu at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan in New Delhi today.
The Chief Minister briefed the Union minister about the opportunity in expansion of air connectivity in the state.
Discussions were held on strengthening the air connectivity of the state and development of regional airports.
Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat and Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh posted in New Delhi Ritu Sein were also present in that occasion.
